Our commitment

Everyone deserves access to information about care. This website aims to meet the accessibility requirements of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA), following the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).

What we've done

• Full keyboard navigation with a visible focus indicator and a skip-to-content link.
• Text contrast of at least 4.5:1 against backgrounds.
• Descriptive alternative text on all meaningful images.
• Correct language attributes on every page (English pages marked en, Portuguese pages marked pt).
• Semantic headings and landmarks so screen readers can navigate the page structure.
• No auto-playing audio or video; no content that flashes.
• Form fields with clear, visible labels.
• Touch targets large enough to use comfortably on mobile.
